Join Registered Massage Therapist, Sarah Stephen-Trull for a workshop designed to empower partners to use therapeutic touch and massage to help relieve common aches and pains during pregnancy and labour. In addition to supporting the physical body, awareness will also be brought to cultivating a bond and expressing love through nurturing touch and supported relaxation for mommy and baby.

Daddies will also receive Partner Massage Certificate for baby book!

Workshop Overview:

Massage During Pregnancy

  • How to improve posture
  • Decrease inflammation
  • Relieve common muscular complaints during pregnancy
  • Relieving headaches due to muscle tension
  • Abdominal massage
  • Hand & foot massage

Massage for Labour Support

  • Benefits of massage during labor
  • Pre-labor massage ~ jaw, temples, hips
  • Hands & Feet massage
  • Belly rubs for contractions
  • During Lull of labor ~ relaxation techniques
  • During active labor ~ massage to ease back labor

Registration:

$65 + HST
*Registration is limited to 5 couples.
* Please bring 4-5 pillows, and two Towels; wear comfy clothing and bring any questions you may have about massage during pregnancy.
